The role
MAJORITY is looking for a Data Analyst, to join its risk product team in Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities
From a data perspective to support and enable the development of the risk product function at MAJORITY by:
- Ensuring and preserving data quality
- Performing data analysis on transactions, behaviors and risk rule outcomes
- Developing scripts to detect fraud and potential money laundering and reduce loss and risk exposure.
- Performing ad hoc deep dives on Risk and KYC related topics
- Come up with creative ideas on how to proactively prevent and detect fraud and money laundering
- Drive results with a proven ability to achieve both team and individual goals consistently
- Act as the captain for Risk data and drive this agenda throughout the organization
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as BI analyst/data analyst/data scientist or similar role
- Ability to effectively work in team and create strong relationships
- Proficiency in Looker or similar tools is a great plus
- Proficiency in SQL, understanding of different database schemes
- Proficiency in Python including data manipulation, numerical analysis and visualization
- Ability to manipulate and tidy large datasets using a tool such as Pandas
- Proficiency in DBT for ELT transformation
- Ability to make basic statistical analyses
- Experience in risk management or within the financial transaction industry is a plus
- Interest in learning more about Machine Learning and its potential applications in the risk area
