Hotels Unlimited operates mid-level franchised hotels and has great career opportunities for individuals who are highly motivated, have a take-charge attitude, and good communication skills. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of General Manager at our Holiday Inn of East Windsor location.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
- To hire and/or train a qualified staff to produce the highest volume of sales, and affect the greatest profit while maintaining a high degree of public satisfaction, confidence, and prestige in the service and quality of the hotel.
- To oversee hiring, training, scheduling, employee issues, and termination, including development and motivation of personnel skills.
- To exemplify Hotel policies and procedures.
- To remain competitive in every area and to produce and achieve budgetary goals.
- To maintain a high employee morale.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of recent experience as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager with a proven track record for achieving excellent customer service.
- Must possess operational knowledge of all phases of the hotel industry as well as understand budgeting and accounting.
- A well organized, highly motivated individual with a take charge attitude and excellent communication skills and great attention to detail is vital to this position.
- Must set an example for all employees at all times relating to guest service and professionalism.
- Excellent communicator, well organized, and detail oriented.
- Flexible hours required.
- Basic computer skills with knowledge in Windows, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to work independently as well as follow given instructions.
