Job Description: Working with a team unloading, building furniture, and staging the furniture store for the grand opening.
"MUST HAVE FURNITURE BUILDING EXPERIENCE" MUST HAVE Cordless drill
Starting Location: Glen Burnie, MD for one week.
Start Date: 08-01-2023 (next Monday) from 7 AM - 5 PM (10-hour days)
- Operate pallet jacks, furniture dollies, and mattress dollies.
- Use of various hand tools, drills, and knives
- Unload trailer deliveries
- Assemble and place Bedroom sets, Dining sets, Home Theater’s, and Upholstery
- Assemble and place lamps and various accessories.
- Heavy lifting, team lifting, or use of proper equipment and Teflon tape to avoid structural damages.
This is a skilled labor position. Must bring their own tools, and practical knowledge in using those tools. Must have installation experience, skilled furniture assembly is a plus.
Pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience. MUST have furniture building experience and a cordless drill and have your own tools.
Weekly Pay (one week in arrears) - Direct Deposit
More Set Ups Start Date: August 7th - 4 weeks total for this project - if you are willing to travel.
7 AM - 5 or 6 PM - Monday through Saturday - overtime paid after 40 hours work.
If you travel after this location - Drivetime, mileage and hotels paid. We do not pay per deim.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Own a reliable form of transportation.
- Ability to work professionally with a team while a store is operational.
- Ability to complete daily procedures and responsibilities given by team lead.
- Ability to communicate effectively both internal management and externally with co-workers.
