What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling position at Mallett Buildings?
A Scheduler is responsible for scheduling formers and finishers, calculating take-offs for fill sand and concrete from field measurements, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors for deliveries and inspections. Must have a minimum 1 year of experience.
Scheduler Job Description:
- Schedule formers and finishers for work week in conjunction with the General Manager
- Set objectives for formers and finishers
- Communicate with clients of upcoming deliveries, inspections and craft onsite
- Communicate with the clients on forming and concrete requirements prior to work proceeding
- Coordinate any additional material or equipment that will be required (i.e. Georgia Buggies, Throughs or Line Pumps) along with costs associated
- Observe weather patterns, traffic patterns or other phenomena that might affect the schedule
- Use field measurements to calculate fill sand and concrete for the client.
- Build an environment of open, timely communication and collaboration with the General Manager and Upper Management to resolve internal staff conflicts
- Compliance to standard operating procedure.
- Able to manage relationships with clients and craft at all levels.
- Able to manage crisis and high stress situations.
- Comfortable dealing with large and small customers.
- Working knowledge of quotes and proposals.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
