Machine Operator: (Die Cutting), 11pm-7am

Malnove Incorporated of Utah, a family-owned, nationwide folding carton manufacturer, seeks an Die-Cutting Make Ready Specialist in its Clearfield facility. We have an immediate opportunity for a high caliber Associate who has passion and ambition to drive results. This position is needed on 3rd Shift (11pm-7am).

The Job

This position is responsible for assisting on pit crew make readies on the die cutting presses as well as assisting with other non-skilled pre and post make ready activities in between make readies such as staging tooling, gathering materials for next job, covering breaks, WIP management and housekeeping.

The Successful Candidate will:

• Safely handling Make Ready carts from staging areas to the correct Die Cutting press.
• Gather all materials required for next jobs such as:
• Job Bag
• Caps
• Tie Sheets
• Special size pallets
• Labels
• Effectively and efficiently assist the Die Cutter Operator during make readies following the Pit Crew Changeover flow chart.
• During no-make ready periods the make ready specialist assists with the following duties:
• Run presses during operator’s breaks and lunch
• Re-stock materials
• WIP staging areas management
• Housekeeping

• Assist aerator and Baler room if needed
• Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, food safety, OSHA, etc. to ensure a safe, secure working environment that meets the company’s goals and achieves customer satisfaction.
