Maintenance Technician Experienced
In this role you'll be on the front lines of the property service industry. Joining our team of Maintenance Professionals, you'll provide firsthand support to the diverse network of communities we manage. These services may include:
roofing repairs
siding
gutters
windows
doors
wood replacement
light plumbing work
light electrical work
general property maintenance
HVAC experience (required)
appliance repair experience (required)
Customer service is at the heart of all we do. As the first-responder for a vast range of maintenance queries, you'll push yourself to resolve issues quickly, safely and to the highest standard possible.
Although your starting point will be to provide best practice maintenance services, as you gain experience and develop your skills, you'll be trusted to take on tasks in different trades. As you support others, you'll have exceptional opportunities to develop your own skills. It's a busy team with a wide breadth of experience, so you will be encouraged to learn from those around you.
About you:
Educated to degree or certification level, and with substantial experience in property maintenance, you're an expert with your hands, your tools, and your mind.
You must have a valid driver's license.
Qualifications in customer service support would also be an advantage, along with a strong working knowledge of service maintenance and best practice safety standards.
Furthermore, specialist experience in one (or more) of maintenance operations, trades, and construction will be important.
Your natural mechanics instinct and professional service will be key, and you'll be able to effectively troubleshoot and communicate pragmatic solutions to resolve maintenance issues, remaining level headed in pressured scenarios.
What's more, you're highly organized and you take pride in what you do. You possess a collaborative and flexible mindset. You'll build strong relationship with our community association manager and the community we serve. You'll also work well independently on assigned tasks and projects.
