Pay: $38,000 annually

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Work schedule: Monday through Friday; 8am-4:30pm

Job responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating and implementing the career preparation period program for new students.

Essential functions:

• Plan, coordinate and conduct the CP program and other activities and lessons by using a variety of teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.
• Recommend an appropriate training program for each assigned student using background files, personal interviews, tests, and other assessment tools.
• Provide students with employment, career training, personal and social adjustment counseling on an individual and group basis.
• Continuously evaluate individual student’s attitudes, participation, and commitment in career preparation program, intervene when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
Maintain documentation and training records for each student.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Associate's Degree Required and 2 years related experience
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements
A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
