Job Overview: The Food Service Lead
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Food Service Lead to oversee, enhance, and ensure a pleasant dining experience for our patients and guests. The Food Service Lead will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with patients and guests in a professional, dignified manner, and inform management of potential service and product issues before they arise. It is considered essential personnel that contributes to the health and wellness of our patients and the community. All appropriate training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided to keep you and your family safe and healthy.
The Food Service Lead will manage the shift with Healthcare Hostesses. Will help with the setup and cleanup in the kitchen. Apportions and places food servings in container. Examines food before placing on the serving line. Cleans and sanitizes workstations and counters. May brew coffee. Interacts with patients. Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures. Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner. Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures. Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This position reports to the Patient Services Manager.
