JOB TITLE: Marketing Strategist

SUPERVISOR: President

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

HOURS WORKED: 20 hours/ week

DEFINITION:

The main purpose of this job is to provide support for the Company’s social media platforms by creating and posting content, creating email marketing campaigns, and providing marketing services as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Works under the general supervision of the President

SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:

None.

EQUIPMENT/JOB LOCATION:

Mane Beauty Method LLC is a salon located in Eden Prairie, MN. The Marketing Strategist’s work will be completed remotely with the exception of scheduled meetings and content strategy sessions in and out of the salon.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

The essential functions of the Marketing Strategist includes, but are not necessarily limited to, the following job duties:

• Content creation for social media platforms.
• Creation of marketing materials.
• Creation of digital downloads for profit and/or free use.
• Online course creation for profit and/or free use.
• Posting of content on social media and the Company website.
• Engaging on accounts.
• Creation of email marketing campaigns.
• Track data and provide strategic recommendations.

• Excellent knowledge of the industry and trends impacting the Company.
• Excellent personal/social skills when dealing with vendors, coworkers, and owner.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to sudden changes throughout the day.
• Ability to freely and openly take direction from the owner.
• Learn and effectively use the Company’s computer system including updates.
• Perform light administrative duties accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to use independent judgment and make decisions quickly.
• Respond to common inquiries or complaints from the owner or staff.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn about new techniques to keep the Company competitive.
• Ability to concentrate, use reasoning, and prioritize tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduation or GED completion.
• College degree in marketing or communications desired, but not required.
• Practices a strong work ethic.
• Possesses qualities such as productivity, dependability, resourcefulness, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal communication.
• Physical stamina.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
