Our corporate office in Long Beach, CA is currently seeking a Safety Coordinator/Data Entry, Part Time
Mangan’s safety program is an award winning, industry recognized program that has successfully maintained a very low injury rate for more than two decades. The Safety Department is tasked with incorporating regulatory requirements, those of our clients, and the corporation’s high standards for safety performance into a program relevant to the employees in order to promote a strong culture of safe work practices.
The candidate must have an analytical mind; be detail orientated; possess problem-solving and communication skills; can work well with both general staff and management; must have a genuine concern for people, be patient, flexible, and practical. The candidate must agree to strictly adhere to corporate safety guidelines and procedures.
Specific Qualifications
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office 365 programs at an intermediate level
- Self-organized
- Detail orientated.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities.
Essential Job Functions
Data entry and coordination of certain safety program activities. Below are a few specific examples.
- Data entry of manual audit cards (SMART) and coordinate follow up action items.
- Process employee on-boarding and separations related to safety training tracking and documentation requirements.
- Support the Operational Management System compliance data entry, tracking, and reporting.
- Process monthly office inspections and follow up action items.
- Process the biweekly safety meeting classroom and system data entries
- Process Point Redemption requests and data entry updates.
- Protect and maintain confidential employee information.
