Mangan is seeking an SPI Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Sugar Land office. The SPI SME classification is specific to the individuals who have advanced knowledge of SPI, Databases, Programming, and/or senior levels of Instrumentation/Control Systems industry standards and practices.
Qualifications:
- Advanced experience with SPI modules (Engineering and Design), SPI Import Utility, SPI Administration, Claims and Merges, SQL statements, and Interfaces between SPI and other applications
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Access, Database platforms, DBMS tools, SQL for Exporting data, Adobe Acrobat, CAD applications, and other software used for data implementation
- Minimum of 10 years of experience

A SPI Subject Matter Expert will have the following SPI capabilities:
- Advanced knowledge of creating and customizing of ESL background files and symbols
- Advanced knowledge with SPI ESL layouts, macros, redlining, and smart text implementation
- Advanced knowledge with customizing SPI specification forms
- Advanced knowledge with SPI administration module (access rights, projects, claims and merges, domain creation, etc.)
- Strong knowledge with source file data manipulation and interpretation for SPI data imports (identifying instrument types, service descriptions, equipment, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of exporting source domain SPI data and Import to a target SPI domain
- Strong knowledge with SPI import utility
- Basic understanding of SQL statements (Select, Update, Cases, Comparison, Join - explicit & implicit, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge with domain upgrades and all tasks associated with it
- Creation of SPI procedures for data implementation, quality control, project schedules, project tracking, etc.
- Provide basic and advanced SPI training and consulting services
- Basic Information Technology concepts including operating systems, server infrastructure, programming, etc.
- Advanced knowledge with SPI import utility
- Advanced knowledge with resolving claim and merge database issues (repairing merged project data)
- Strong knowledge with source file data manipulation and interpretation for SPI data imports (identifying instrument types, service descriptions, equipment, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of exporting source domain SPI data and Import to a target SPI domain
- Advanced knowledge with SQL statements (Select, Update, Cases, Comparison, Join - explicit & implicit, etc.) and SPI table structure
- SPI Data Replication
- Advanced Information Technology concepts including operating systems, server infrastructure, programming, etc.
