What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Pizza Maker position at MANGIA BENE?
Summary of Position:
Accurately and efficiently make/cook, pizza and other hot food products, as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of toppings, vegetables and other food items for cooking in ovens and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
- Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
- Knows and complies with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
- Handles and stores products
- Assists in product preparation during off-peak periods as needed
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows closing check list for station
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and staff
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
