Scope and Purpose:
ManhattanLife is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join our organization's New Business team from our office in Spokane, WA. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for the annuity insurance application set up and issue within state and federal compliance regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the set up and review of annuity applications in our computer administration system.
- Provides verbal and written communication to our producers.
- Requests funds from various insurance institutions and provides account status information as needed.
- Issues annuity contracts, duplicate contracts or certificates expeditiously, cancels annuity files as requested in writing; provides refunds if required.
- If additional requirements are needed, a follow up will be necessary until those requirements are received.
- Applies Premium, activates annuity contracts, creating commissions and tax reporting.
- Calculates and processes immediate annuity quotes for the generation of payouts.
- Processes preliminary and deferred contract illustrations as necessary for Replacement and Contract Issue requirements.
- Responsible for New Business file imaging.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting Market Conduct and Suitability Compliance issues.
- Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external clients by positive promotion of the Company products and services. Continually encourages open communication and expands partnerships through global exposure to enhance our business growth.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum one-year office or clerical experience.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and organization skills.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced working environment with daily deadlines.
- Able to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and other PC applications and/or software.
- Must be able to type 40 to 45 wpm.
- Required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
