Human Resources Generalist
Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist supports the local facility in Administrative, Employee Relations, Recruitment and Onboarding activities.
Administrative
- Manages employee badge system and is responsible for daily timekeeping system in ADP
- Manage employee and temp attendance records and
_Acts as initial point of contact for employee and supervisors questions/concerns, employee relations.
- Regular data entry in support of employee record maintenance in ADP, including new hire entries
- Point of contact for vending, housekeeping, etc.
- Support site leadership in HR initiatives

- First point of contact for employees regarding benefit inquiries to research and resolve in a timely manner
- Responsible for the setup of benefits and ensuring timely employee enrollment in the HRIS System for site
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs
Recruitment
- Actively pursues Operations hires for open positions (direct, indirect, etc.)
- Posts, screens, orders pre-employment tests, and on-boards new hires across multiple sites/states
- Delivers new hire orientation for direct hires and temps to ensure that all onboarding training is complete
Compliance & Reporting
- Manage KPI’s related to Attendance and Turnover
- Managed headcount reporting
- Ensures posting of all regulatory notices and articles
Requirements
Education: Bachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 3 year experience preferred
- ADP experience preferred
- Solid understanding and experience applying Federal and State laws
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills to positively relate to employees at all levels within the organization.
- Proven organizational/time management skills, attention to detail and ability to work with confidential data on a regular basis.
- Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines in a face paced environment.
- PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years HR Generalist experience
