About the Role:
- Provide engineering design for HLW electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility, employing tools like SETROUTE, BlockDraw, and ETAP.
- Demonstrate an extensive understanding of all engineering discipline drawings, including electrical discipline wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, system descriptions, system calculations, 1-line and 3-line drawings, schematics, and electrical equipment layout.
- Perform equipment sizing and cable sizing calculations, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and customer design requirements.
- Conduct specialized tasks, calculations, and studies related to electrical engineering.
- Conduct thorough checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to codes, standards, and customer design requirements.
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 9 years of related electrical engineering experience.
- Extensive knowledge and application of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE standards.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, schematics, and electrical equipment layouts.
- Experience in electrical equipment specification, material requisition process, and developing procurement documentation in BPS.
