We are currently seeking an Forensics Asset Manager. This candidate will enforce IT Asset procedures and run the hardware forensics lab. This role is an integral part of the forensics team and this position is based in Herndon, VA and is 100% on-site.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enforce inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferredEstablish and enhance an electronic capability for storing, retrieving, searching, inventorying,, managing controlling and documenting physical mediaEnsure software licenses are maintained and up to date and comply with license agreements and usage standardsAccountable for procurement of hardware and softwareOversee and maintain the hardware lab ensuring all accountable and non-accountable property is properly tagged and accounted for, maintaining accurate records of loaned assets.Establish lab safety protocols and ensure protocols are followed in the hardware labRequired Experience3 years' experience working in asset management, logistics, technical operations, Information Technology (IT) support, forensics operations or project management or inventory control of technical productsExperience with tracking, documenting and managing workflow of projects or productActive/Current TS/SCI with polygraph clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience with ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property.Experience with property accounting processes to include the associated forms.Knowledge of automated inventory control systems.Experience within the ICExperience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.Clearance RequirementActive/Current TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical RequirementsMust be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeMust be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnelConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
