What are the responsibilities and job description for the EWM Order Administrator - Night Shift position at Maple Leaf Foods?

 The Opportunity:

Under the direction of the EWM / Order Processing Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing all order processing functions in a timely and efficient manner ensuring on-time departures and deliveries.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Billing of domestic, international, USA, and internal customers
  • Coordinate daily orders with the Distribution, Traffic and 3rd Party Warehouses
  • Liason with CFIA / USDA / Customer Service etc.
  • Assignment and preparation of government documents
  • Completing and packaging Driver paperwork
  • Responding to individual customer requirements as required
  • Maintain department metrics as required
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or better
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Transportation logistics experience is considered an asset
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)
  • Strong problem solving, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Able to make independent decisions and work with minimal supervision
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, multitask and manage changing priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
