What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Marathon TS?
Marathon TS is seeking a Program Manager in support of a federal government customer located in Northern Virgina. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite.
The task/program manager is a senior manager responsible for coordinating the management of all work performed. The project manager shall act as the central point of contact.
Primarily responsible for:
Serves as the contractor's single contract manager and shall be the contractor's authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
Coordinating and formulating the enforcing of work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. The Program Manager is responsible for overall contract performance and shall not serve in any other capacity under this contract.
Coordinating the effort of subcontractors, team members, and synchronizing with the other contractors under the direction of the Government Program/Project Manager.
Capable of negotiating and making binding decisions for the company
Assisting program and project managers to develop budget requests in the form of Business Cases for major IT investments
The overall management of the specific task order(s) or contract and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) or contract are implemented in a timely manner.
Performs enterprise wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces with other functional systems.
