Receptionist
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Receptionist to work the front desk at our beautiful and open Brooklyn office. This person should be patient and eager to learn, and must be excited to take on constantly-changing new tasks and projects, as assigned by both senior executives and the HR Manager. General trustworthiness and the ability to handle confidential information with responsibility and discretion is an absolutely essential quality. More than anything, the person who takes this position should be excited by the incredible growth potential that is offered by this role - many of our previous receptionists have gone on to take positions with different departments within the company, and long-term personal development is something that we very specifically seek to offer to our receptionists!
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls.
- Maintain the reception area and attend to guests.
- Enter donations data on electronic forms and submit to the manager in charge on a daily basis.
- Transfer calls to the appropriate recipient.
- Arrange showrooms for meetings.
- Distribute packages and mail.
- Order lunch for managers and top executives.
- Assist the HR Manager with organizing office gatherings, meetings, training sessions, parties, etc.
- Assist HR Manager with new hires and
- Actively assist with all day-to-day HR activities.
- Maintain attendance report for the HR Manager.
- Assist with other tasks, projects, and duties as assigned by both senior executives and the HR Manager the HR Manager and senior executives.
Ideal Qualifications/Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- General computer literacy.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred.
- Former office/administrative/receptionist experience a huge plus.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced office environment.
- Excellent multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
- Strong personal drive and a desire for long-term growth.
