PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Greets, screens, and provides informational assistance to all visitors and clients
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Operates telephone system to relay incoming and inter-office calls.
- Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs, and directs them to the proper person and/or office
- Receives, sorts, and posts all incoming mail
- Organizes and scans all packing slips for multiple Marco locations
- Snail mail and email daily invoices and credit card receipts
- Handles all UPS shipping transactions, issues call tags, and orders UPS supplies
- Track and organize all COI’s and W-9’s
- Update addresses for all customers on Marco’s systems
- Oversee Courier responsibilities and track packages moving between Davenport locations
- Performs various office duties including filing, shredding and data entry.
- Performs other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds is necessary. The vision requirements include close vision. Qualifications
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have 2 years' experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant or equivalent title required
- Pleasing phone voice and good phone skills
- Must possess effective communication skills
