Purpose of Role:
Exciting opportunity for a junior level position. An ambitious, and proactive individual, responsible for trade support/ middle office role with the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team and directly engage with clients. Commercial ability to maintain good relationship with clients.

This role covers the Equity Derivatives and Emerging US/ Canada desks function within the Capital Markets department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general day to day requirements and operational support of the broking desk.
- Directly correspond with clients and provide assistance and collaborate with sales/broking functions to support liquidity for clients.
- Dealing in Equity Derivatives and Emerging US/Canada products once certified.
- Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.
- Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
- Collaboration with central operations functions which support the trading role including but not limited to Operations and Technology.
- Strategizing to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
- Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.

- Carrying out regulatory activities under the appropriate trading books
- Liaising with clients in US
- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
- To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
- To escalate risk events immediately
- To provide input to risk management processes, as required

Skills and Experience
- Analytical skills
- Knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements would be an advantage
- Experience working in financial services for at minimum 1 year.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated in this environment.
- Ability to speak, read, write in French language would be a benefit.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000 annual base salary
