Love your job where the Beach meets the Mountains! We are currently searching for a motivated and talented Bellperson to join our team at the Margaritaville Resort in Gatlinburg, TN. Located in the center of Gatlinburg, the gateway to Smoky Mountain National Park, this resort has 163 rooms and suites, Spa, Margaritaville inspired License To Chill Bar & Grill and Joe Merchants coffee shop, 4,000 square feet of meeting space and additional scenic outdoor event space. POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for escorting guests to and from their accommodations, offering an orientation of the features of the property and their accommodations, and ensuring the guests have what they need to enjoy their stay.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome guests in a genuinely warm and courteous manner.
• Assist guests by unloading and loading luggage from their vehicle.
• Assist guest by unloading and loading luggage from their rooms.
• Answers basic questions about the hotel, The Island and local area.
• Walk through the room demonstrating room amenities and answering any questions the guest may have about amenities and hotel services. Offer ice and other amenities before leaving.
• If rooms are not available, label and store guest luggage in valet closet.
• Be aware of VIPS and groups arriving to the hotel.
• Observes the “10-5” rule when guests are present.
• Follows all hotel safety policies, procedures and standards.
• Keep bell closet clean and organized at all times.
• Work to exceed guest expectations every time.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Able to stand and for 8 hours, able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work outdoors in inclement weather including rain, snow, sleet, wind and heat.

Pay: $8.50 - $18.00 per hour

• Gatlinburg, TN 37738: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
