What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant position at Marigold Catering?
Marigold Catering is looking for an HR Assistant to join our dedicated team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILTIES (including but not limited to):
- Organizes HR files, both electronically and hard copies
- Coordinates employee relations meetings; on-site training, orientation, etc.
- Assists with recruitment; resume screening, interview scheduling, and orientation presentation
- Audits employee time sheets and personnel files of any discrepancies
- Reviews government compliances by following proper procedures for internal information
- Inspects uniform and supply inventory; completes ordering process, tracks inventory, and helps manage budget
- Assists in collection of required information for new hire onboarding for the HR and Payroll departments in an accurate and timely manner
- Reviews documentation for government, federal and state law compliance
- Follows up with staff and client emails and voicemails
- Attends meetings
- Greets office visitors
- Assists in payroll preparation, as needed
- Attends various events, assisting with staff check-ins
- Performs a variety of other administrative office duties assigned by HR Administrator as needed
