Sound Matters. As a Market Development Manager for Beats by Dre, you’ll work on the front line of music, culture, and fashion Beats is for the person who is passionate about hearing music the way the artist means it to be heard.
The MDM will be responsible for owning and supporting a territory that includes 40 retail locations. They will accomplish this by serving as a brand ambassador for one of the hottest product lines in the world. As a full-time Beats Market Development Manager you will be responsible for proactively approaching customers and assisting in various product and accessory sales while providing extraordinary customer service. Additionally, you will conduct merchandising visits to ensure that the display matches all planogram details.
Essential Job Functions:
- Drives sales productivity and customer satisfaction within retail locations on various products, accessories and services to customers
- Ensures proper merchandising at locations, including product placement, maintenance, and brand compliance
- Engages in side-by-side selling with retail associates
- Grows the division sales performance and other key metrics through sales, training and marketing promotions
- Develops and manages in-store promotions/sales events, and coordinates with appropriate personnel
- Creates product and brand awareness for various products
- Effectively communicates various features, advantages of products and services to customers
- Model behaviors for store team members and provide feedback and coaching on performance to peers to Program Manager
- Deliver excellent customer experience to clients and customers
- Increase sales and brand awareness of the client products or services
- Display a professional demeanor while representing the client
- Serving as a point of escalation for questions or issues including individual customer issues
- Providing customer service consultation within retail locations
- Providing positive reinforcement and adult learning techniques to promote learning and skill improvement
- Maintaining sound knowledge of multiple products and services
- Attends requested training sessions and conference calls
- Educates and reviews new product and service offerings with Sales Reps
- Develops and manages positive business relationships with retail store management and employees
- Restocks merchandise as needed and allowed
- Supports select retail outlets in assigned geographical territory
- Visits retail locations periodically
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to engage customers and establish relationships
- Ability to demonstrate selling skills, product knowledge and drive results
- Ability to speak confidently to various group sizes
- Knowledge of various music genres, fashion, and pop-culture
- Ability to successfully lead a team of sales reps

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience in a selling environment
- Proficiency with technology – data gathering and basic computer use
- Proven track record of sales success in an energetic quota driven environment
- Flexibility to work weekends
- 50%-75% Travel required within the US.
- Valid US Driver's License
- Reliable transportation

Pay: Up to $20.43 per hour
