Position Summary
Markey's, a multi-state leading provider of creative audio-visual services, is seeking to add a Supervisor position based at the Embassy Suites Plainfield and Wyndham Indianapolis West properties. This is a client facing position, and the Supervisor will assist the Director of Event Technology in overseeing these two properties.
This is a Full-Time, Salaried (exempt) position. Typical daytime hours, although occasional early mornings, late nights and weekend work may be required.
Position Responsibilities
• Assist in overseeing daily events, personnel, and inventory.
• Work with facility customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Review upcoming event's equipment and labor orders.
• Assist with labor orders, equipment orders, and billing.
• Attend some daily and weekly meetings with clients and facilities.
• Work cooperatively with Markey's and facility staff.
• Setup equipment daily and operate gear as needed.
• Always maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Will need handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
Candidate Requirements
• Two years of combined experience in event technology and management.
• Strong working of A/V equipment including audio, electrical, lighting, and video.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Working knowledge of MS Office 365, operational knowledge of R2 is a plus.
• Able to work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• High level of detailed and organized work.
