What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at MarkNet Alliance?
Hey there, marketers. We're looking for a freelance or contract position (with potential for full-time employment) to help meet our clients' growing demand for marketing services. The ideal candidate will have marketing know-how, be ready to take on a variety of tasks and have a solutions-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities:
- assist with implementation of marketing and advertising plans
- write and manage production of print ads, their deadlines and submission to publications
- create and manage social media posts ads, including paid social (Facebook Ads)
- create and manage digital advertising, including paid search engine marketing (Google Ads)
- manage multiple projects and deadlines for various clients
- must be available during M-F, 8:30 to 5 p.m. hours for communication with team and clients
- will report to in-house marketing director but will work along side in-house digital marketing specialist and in-house marketing coordinator
Experience:
- at least two years experience in marketing and advertising role
- must have ability to work efficiently with extremely tight deadlines
- must be willing to take direction and be willing to make revisions to work as requested
- preferred background in marketing, advertising or communications
- must have excellent copywriting and editing skills
- preferred skills include graphic design or should have experience with working with a graphic designer
Position can be mostly remote with occasional in office work days or meetings. This position will be approximately 24-35 hours per week but that may vary depending on work load.
