OVERVIEW
This residential group home is looking for a Manager to supervise the day to day operations of a residential group home of 6 wonderful individuals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Compliance: Ensure the home meets all licensing regulations (DDS, Health Inspection, Fire Marshall, ICF if applicable).
On-Call Duties: Be on-call for Marrakech residences as scheduled.
Supervision: Supervise the Assistant Manager/Supervisor and all direct care staff.
Management Meetings: Regularly meet with the Marrakech Management Team to discuss residential issues.
Financial Oversight: Maintain individual finances, bank accounts, and petty cash, ensuring proper documentation.
Habilitation Reports: Complete and submit habilitation reviews/reports on time to the Program Director.
Teaching Strategies: Develop and implement individual teaching strategies and coordinate all PST meetings.
Records Management: Ensure compliance with DDS and/or ICF regulations regarding admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Hiring Process: Participate in hiring, including interviews and site visits for external and internal candidates.
Staff Orientation: Orient new staff with shadowing and in-service training.
Staff Support: Provide ongoing supervision and training to staff as needed.
Entitlements Coordination: Work with the Client Funds Coordinator to ensure individuals receive entitlements (e.g., SSI, Medicaid).
Site Checks: Conduct regular spot checks at responsible sites and report findings.
Staffing Management: Ensure staffing patterns adhere to critical information and financial parameters.
Daily Schedules: Implement program schedules that include daily living skills and community recreation.
Service Delivery: Ensure participants receive all services identified in their service plans.
Record Maintenance: Maintain individual records according to policy, ensuring reports are updated and complete.
Communication: Maintain positive contact with individuals, families, vocational programs, and healthcare providers.
Needs Coordination: Coordinate medication administration and medical appointments, ensuring emotional and medical needs are met.
Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community through individual-centered activities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of the Assistant Manager, Supervisor, and direct care staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or two years of related experience/training.
Two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including one year in a supervisory role.
Other education/experience variations will be considered.

PMT Certification
SCHEDULE
Su-Th 8a-4p (40 FT).
SALARY
Starting at $20.37/hour, increasing to $20.91/hour after the introductory period.
