What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook II position at Marriott?
- Uses the kitchen manual regarding recipe samples and all preparation methods.
- Demonstrates safe and proper use of equipment at all times. Perform duties in a safe manner.
- Reduce and keep waste to a minimum.
- Practice basic sanitation and stock rotation and refrigerator cleanliness; keep all work areas clean and tidy.
- Demonstrate proper production of food items, working efficiently to achieve maximum productivity. Prepare cold food items while adhering to recipe file. Monitoring taste and visual appearance.
- Proficiently perform duties on cold entree lines, as well as duties involving food preparation as required.
- Label, date, store and rotate all products while maintaining assigned stock levels. Control food items requested, ensuring stock is maintained without over production.
- Notify Outlet Manager of storeroom requisitions needed for all products the day before their delivery.
- Attend department’s pre‐shift meeting to review job list for daily food production.
- Cook or otherwise prepare food according to recipe.
- Cut, trim, and bone meats and poultry for cooking.

Quarterly Bonus Program (prorated for part time):
$300 bonus every 3 months if we are in the Green Zone for GSS Intent to Recommend and meet a minimum 85% of GOP.
Annual Review Increase Opportunity:
During annual reviews in March and April of each year, associates are able to earn up to a 3% increase to their pay rate based on performance from the previous 12 months. Associates will be eligible for a pro-rated portion of the increase based on the number of completed months of service during the review period.

PTO (full time):
Associates start accruing PTO on day 1 and can begin using it after 6 months. PTO is accrued each pay period which is bi-weekly. New hires earn a total of 15 PTO days their first year.

Associates are eligible to sign up after 1 year of employment. Auro will match up to 4% of your contribution.
