Sworn officer, firearms qualified. Establishes and maintains a safe atmosphere for faculty, staff, students and visitors at an institution by providing police and security services.
Location MU - Marshall University Salary Range $41,800; Salary may be increased based off education, experience, and internal equity. Salary Grade 4

Required Qualifications
Education
Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent experience; must meet established standards required for acceptance at the WV state Basic Law Enforcement Academy.
Experience
The applicant must successfully complete a physical assessment, interview panel, background check and pass a medical examination. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and deal tactfully with members of the university and surrounding community.
