Position Summary:
MarshBerry is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst based out of our Beachwood, OH office. The Sales Operations Analyst, will ensure account records in our CRM (Salesforce) are accurate and up to date. This is a highly collaborative role with sales teams, marketing and other cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity, improve processes and support business goals related to client interactions and sales operations. The Sales Operations Analyst will coordinate the establishment of outreach campaigns for marketing and sales leaders, ensuring the campaigns meet necessary criteria. This individual will also provide reports on a regular basis and upon request from sales and marketing leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Implement processes and procedures for keeping Salesforce data up to date and accurate. Implement and communicate processes to ensure account managers are regularly updating their accounts.
- Support account managers with account research needs and updating records for certain key accounts.
- Provide regular reports to sales leadership of the status of accounts. Provide reports upon request to sales and marketing leaders for outreach and campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to ensure client and prospect lists are available and (data around what the sales managers are setting) expectations for assignment and activity are communicated.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks on CRM data to identify discrepancies, duplicates, and data integrity issues. Develop and implement correct measures to maintain data accuracy.
- Collaborate on the development of training materials and documentation for CRM users on data entry best practices. Conduct training sessions as needed to ensure compliance and data consistency across teams.
- Assist with preparing lead lists for associations, conferences and events and supporting the creation of campaigns, follow-up and reporting on activity and results. Manage the process to ensure lead lists are accurate, complete and uploaded into Salesforce.
- Manage special projects for key accounts to create campaigns, follow up and reporting on activity and results.
- Help to ensure Forecasting Accuracy and Completeness
- Collaborate with sales and data functions to define, analyze, and create actionable, company moving reporting on sales by country, region, territory, and individuals.
- Serve as point-person for sales reporting and analysis of key business metrics.
- Other special projects, tasks or duties as assigned.
Selection Criteria
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or related fields.
- Related professional certifications or designations are a plus.
- 3-5 years’ experience in CRM administration, data management, project management or sales support.
- Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point are essential.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and data management tools. Salesforce experience preferred.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate reports and provide actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and train others on CRM processes.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and experience implementing data governance practices.
- Excellent project management, analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities. Also, apply in depth understanding of financial concepts to practical business problems.
- Self-motivated; Self-starter with ability to make appropriate decisions.
- Open to feedback: follows instructions, responds to management directions and solicits feedback to improve performance.
