Martin Dentistry has been serving our friends and neighbors in the Tri-Cities for over 40 years with locations in Kingsport, Johnson City, Colonial Heights, and Elizabethton. We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager at our Parkway Family Dental location.

The office manager role is vital to create and maintain a positive experience for employees and patients, ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness, and effectively communicate throughout the office. We are looking for a strong LEADER who leads by example and inspires our team to be the best we can be.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
On board new employees, conduct orientation sessions, relay the vision of the practice, and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
Monitors patient flow and staff allocation to meet patient needs, maximize doctor’s time.
Supervises front and back office staff, resolves any clinical-administrative problems, and develops measurable performance objectives for the team.
Observe and evaluate workers' performance and appearance to ensure quality service and compliance with policies. Issue corrective coaching, oral and written, as appropriate to communicate practice standards.
Prepare, monitor, and track operational reports and key vitals of the company to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Oversees billing and collection processes.
Supervises patient recordkeeping and HIPAA compliance.
Ensures optimal patient care, monitors patient satisfaction and resolves complaints.
Ultimately, the office manager must be cross-trained to be able to function in any administrative role as needed
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA standards.
Adherence to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum two years of experience in medical or dental office setting.
3-5 years of managerial experience, preferably in medical or dental office setting.
Knowledge of billing codes and understanding of insurance plans a plus.
