Account Sales Representative
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary liaison between customer, engineering, manufacturing, finance and quality departments to address customer related needs including but not limited to quotations, orders and general questions.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Competencies
Supports sales function in the processing of quotations and proposals including but not limited to cost collection, pricing work-up and signature approvals for customer submittal as well as quotation performance tracking.
Spearheads order entry in a timely manner in line with internal policies including the management of customer portals as well as order entry performance tracking.
Handles incoming requests for order status including expedite requests through coordination with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality and Purchasing as well as drives regular customer updates where required.
Proactively manages on time delivery through close internal coordination and communicates status inclusive of recovery date information if applicable.
Fields general customer inquiries and conducts internal research to respond in a timely manner.
Builds and maintains strong positive relationships with customers and assures customer satisfaction by resolution of customer related issues as well as supporting in person meetings.
Provides office support including but not limited to answering phones, filing, regular team interface and other administrative tasks as required.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively one on one and in small groups with customers and employees.
Reasoning Abilities
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to apply critical thinking to resolve internal and external issues.
Other Qualifications
Ability to work extended hours as needed to ensure customer and company requirements are met on a timely basis. This could include work schedule requirements in excess of eight (8) hours.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Qualifications : Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or High school diploma with minimum five (5) years of customer service experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. The noise level can be loud to very loud for short periods when tracking or expediting orders requires plant or manufacturing exposure.
