Job Summary
- Responsible for prototype, pre-launch, and launch of product, PPAP, customer communication from APQP through service, customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
- College degree in a technical field preferred.
- Experience in all phases of Quality Control.
- Experience with automotive part approval process.
- Computer software applications experience.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 preferred.
- Personal qualifications must include a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with people, good personal grooming and exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent attendance; "sense of urgency" oriented especially when customer deadlines potentially in jeopardize.
- Work with all departments to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively across different organizational levels.
- Understand and implement Customer Specific Requirements and customer product specifications.
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and implementing product Control Plans in coordination with engineering documents (FMEAs and Flow charts) by following QA-WI-051 " Documentation Requirements"
- Responsible for assisting production with quality issues, deviations and improvements.
- Complete or organize customer part approval submissions (PPAP) including all necessary AIAG reference manuals and requirements such as MSA, Control Plans, etc.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining safe launch work instructions.
- Oversee hourly employee(s) in supporting roles. g. Safe Launch
- Responsible for other roles and responsibilities as defined in QA-WI-047 Safe Launch.
- Leads cross functional team in root cause analysis for customer concerns and is responsible to submit all necessary documentation to the customer.
- Reviews corrective actions for verification of implementation and determination of effectiveness.
- * Review and analyze warranty data (via applicable customer systems) and all field returns and complaints.
- Participate in APQP and compliance with the program Gate Review processes.
- Assist in understanding and implementing all applicable customer or product test specifications as shown on prints, referenced in quote packages or otherwise documented as contractual obligations.
- Comply and conform to all applicable BMS documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements.
- Review customer portal sites daily and report any concerns affecting MRE NV to the team and Leadership.
- Review customer score cards, perform analysis for trends and report necessary action items to Quality Manager.
- Assist in continuous improvement projects.
