Position: Therapy - Speech Language Pathologist | Speech Language Pathologist
Facility: Piedmont Fayette Hospital
Term: 16 Weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Description and Requirements from VMS: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 Years, will accept first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION: Adults, Geriatrics
The therapist will need to have experience adult either outpt or acute care. On average, the therapist would see 6-7 patients in a 8hr shift in outpatient. The goal is for the therapist to stay in outpatient with our current volume and not travel to inpatient however if volumes drops the therapist would pick up patient s in inpatient setting. Can not be a CFY must have their CCCs; Outpatient wears black or khaki pants with outpatient wellness/rehab shirts
REQUIRED: GA License, CCC-SLP, BLS, Epic, Charge Experience
CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Dysarthria, Dysphagia, Fluency, TBIs, Voice, Communication Board, Memory Aide, Bedside Swallow Evaluation, Compensatory Strategies, Hyolaryngeal Exercises, International Dysphagia Diet, Modify Diet Orders, Oral Motor, Thermal Simulation, Thickening Agents, Suctioning, BAE (Boston Aphasia Evaluation), Oral Peripheral Exam, WAB (Western Aphasia Battery), Assessment, Concurrent Therapy: Documentation, Concurrent Therapy: Treatment, Discharge, Evaluation, Medicaid, Medicare A, Medicare B, Plan of Care, Point of Service Documentation, Reassessments, SLP Evaluation Coding
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling is Not Guaranteed
WEEKENDS: as scheduled
HOLIDAYS:
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
