Robert Half is seeking to engage an expert Commercial Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of private sector experience. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file subpoena requests, motions, complaints, and advocacy filings.
• Provide advice on commercial litigation matters and ensure that all advice is provided in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
• Participate in defining and implementing legal strategy.
• Negotiate and resolve legal disputes in regard to commercial litigation matters.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal department to manage agreements and related risks effectively.
• Remain informed about current industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• 5 years of private sector experience.
• Broad knowledge of all facets of commercial litigation including case assessment, procedural & litigation strategy, discovery, court appearances, and settlement discussions.
• Proficient in advanced negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within a demanding workload.
• Superior drafting and research skills.
• Proven track record of protecting the rights of clients and ensuring they receive the best possible outcome
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
