Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Ship and Air Integrated Warfare Division, Fleet Support Engineering and Sustainment Branch of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD. Responsibilities You will provide expert technical direction and leadership for a staff of engineers, technicians, IT professionals and business support. You will be the primary interface for sponsors and operational organizations and is responsible for working collaboratively with sponsors and other program management authorities to develop solutions for war fighting requirements. You will be responsible for managing priorities and developing tactical resource plans to facilitate project execution for the technical portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are properly resourced and the technical requirements of the projects are met. You will be responsible for the development of subordinates to include providing opportunities to develop technical and program management experience both internally and through external rotations. You will be responsible for developing expertise on current and emerging technologies and products with potential for application to the products and solutions developed by the Branch. You will provide actionable insight into emergent requirements for resources such as the civilian and services technical workforce, issues that impact financial execution and issues associated with acquisition development, award, and oversight. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Serve as the portfolio lead for ship and shore-based C5ISR integration projects and will be responsible for the supervision and technical leadership of Branch employees. 2.Providing expert technical direction and leadership for a staff of engineers, technicians, IT professionals, and business support personnel concerning the development and installation of ship and shore-based C5ISR systems utilizing the Navy Modernization Program (NMP) .3. Managing priorities and developing tactical resource plans to facilitate project execution for the Branch technical portfolio of ship and shore-based C5ISR systems. 4. Lead coordination with sponsors and other program management authorities to develop and install ship and shore-based C5ISR system solutions in accordance with the NMP for meeting warfighter requirements. 5. Serve as lead technical authority and provide project planning/management for the portfolio of Branch work to support the design, development, integration, test, and installation of ship and shore-based C5ISR systems, computer networks, and other related electronic systems and equipment in accordance with NMP.
