Digital Marketing Consultant (NC)

Mason Interactive, headquartered in NYC, with a second office in Charlotte, North Carolina, is hiring for our New Business team in Charlotte, NC. The job is full-time, hybrid work option with at least two days a week in-office. This is a salaried position, and we will provide insurance, a full salary, benefits, vacation & sick days, a computer, and more.

Our 30-person team works with about 50 clients across a variety of performance marketing strategies; we strive to be our clients’ competitive advantage. This position is on the sales team. The job is reply to incoming leads – people who’ve expressed interest in hiring us – and to develop relationships, demonstrate expertise, and provide strategic solutions to help grow our clients’ business. You will be the front line face of the company, dealing with exciting new brands across a variety of industries. Our ideal candidate is someone working at a large agency, but who wants to work in a more hands-on environment and who wants to move up, make an impact, and grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Digital Marketing Consultant will work on a tight-knit team, helping our clients succeed across an evolving array of online platforms.

You will work collaboratively with on task such as:

• Grow the agency’s business by focusing on New Business Development.

• To help manage these new client relationships post-sale, with the goal of retaining the new business.

• Time will be devoted to Attending our events (digital & physical).

• Meeting clients to discuss their advertising needs.

• Working with Performance Marketing Managers to devise a campaign that meets the client’s brief and budget.

• Presenting campaign ideas and costings to clients.

• Negotiating with clients, solving any problems and making sure deadlines are met.

• Checking and reporting on the campaign’s progress Keeping in contact with the client at all stages of the campaign.

• Managing the account’s budget and invoicing the client.

• Making ‘pitches’ to win new business Identifying leads from events and other sources, and putting them into our business development flow.

• Strategizing with prospects to come up with the best media mix and plan for their business.

• Following up with old leads.

• Utilizing Hubspot to maintain and update contact records and lead activity.

• Supporting with marketing content creation occasionally.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Strong Presentation skills – using existing keynote, excel, and scripts and templates, you will be responsible for positioning us at the best solution to grow our clients’ business.

• Out-going personality – you can’t fake enthusiasm.

• Ability to conduct Keyword Research (Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush).

• Willingness to learn and grow into competencies in Google and/or Facebook advertising.

“NICE TO HAVE” SKILLS

• Priority consideration will be given to candidates who have one or more of the following areas of expertise:

• Comfortable talking to strangers

• Keynote “wizard” (or willingness to learn)

• Hubspot experience

• “Light” photoshop skills

• Google Ads certification

• Google Analytics certification

• Facebook Blueprint certification

COMPENSATION

The targeted salary for this position is commensurate with experience, paid every two weeks. Employees are expected to work on a hybrid work schedule of at least two days a week in-office.  All new employees get a $300 home office allowance to set up their workspace.
