Responsibilities
• Strategy – set the vision for professional development, to promote leadership and management capabilities
• Operations - ensure consistent execution of learning offerings through the design and deployment of a comprehensive set of training processes, routines, and standards
• Measurement - Define key metrics, leverage quantitative and qualitative feedback to optimize programs and demonstrate impact
• Stakeholder management – proactively engage learning advisors and business sponsors to understand requirements for strengthening professional capabilities; cultivate relationships with internal subject matter experts and build network of peers to inform perspective and respond to evolving business requirements
• Learning Council - build community of learning professionals across the enterprise
• Team – lead a team of collaborative, purpose-led development professionals, passionate about delivering learning content that inspires action, engagement, and inclusion
• Vendor & Resource Management –evaluate, identify and partner with vendors as needed to procure/customize content; Manage the budget and allocation of development resources.
Qualifications
• 7 years of broad and progressive experience in the L&D space
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, Communications
• Proven track record of establishing a vision for an L&D org and building a high-quality portfolio of programs that achieve the vision
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with demonstrated abilities to communicate effectively (written and oral) with employees at all levels
• Strong performance consultation experience, both coaching employees and advising leaders across all levels of the enterprise
• Previous experience managing L&D professionals, working cross functionally with other technical and non-technical teams
• Solid organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and with little oversight; outstanding execution and follow-through
• Resourceful, adaptable to change, with a bias for action and ability to easily navigate between high level strategy and roll-up sleeves execution
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• Preferred: Master’s degree in instructional systems design, education technology, or related disciplines; Experience with Learning Management Systems/Platforms (e.g., Workday, Degreed, Articulate)
