Job Summary
The Program Manager provides project management, business analysis, and functional expertise for the design, development, operation, and implementation of Vista by Viewpoint and other mission-critical systems. Program Manager partners with technical vendors to create meaningful and efficient technical solutions in order to satisfy business needs and system requirements. Program Manager develops and maintains integration plans and status reporting. This position is to be 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Solutioning:
- Analyze complex business needs presented by the user community or clients and provide recommendation for technical and/or functional solutions. Requirements Definition.
- Partner with business, technical associates and vendors to develop technical/functional requirements based for business needs.
- Analyze operational procedures and complex business needs and problems to determine system requirements.
- Perform liaison duties between users, operations, IT development personnel in the area of systems design, modifications or troubleshooting.
- Implementation:
- Support the implementation and upgrade of ERP software.
- Support the Implementation of new systems and programs to meet business needs.
- Produce and maintain timeline for implementations and application releases.
- Monitor progress of software release and IT initiatives for effective project control.
- Track and provide status reporting.
- Testing:
- Coordinate and communicate with functional users the testing and validation of system changes.
- Assist with the design, coding and development of unit test plans and scripts, as needed.
- Direct participation in testing.
- Application Support:
- Provide business application support for ERP software and legacy systems.
- Participate in hardware/software evaluations and maintain vendor contracts.
- Train and/or coordinate training for system end users.
- Represent IT at customer review meetings, as needed.
- Available for on call support during critical system events.
- Procedural:
- Create and enforce standard policy and procedures to maintain consistency of existing applications.
- Ensure business systems meet uptime/downtime requirements.
- Support Production Change Management Process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or the equivalent experience.
- Five years ERP management experience.
- Five years IT support for construction company or equivalent.
- Strong system migration lifecycle knowledge.
- System implementation experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Vista by Viewpoint expertise.
- Construction Industry Experience.
- SQL skills.
- Production Change Management Process.
- Understanding of SOX Requirements.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.
