POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for working directly with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate the shipping, receiving and inventory by utilizing knowledge of equipment, procedures and specifications.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of our warehouse
- Responsible for in and out inspections for all equipment leaving our warehouse
- Assist manager with inventory management at our facility
- Responsible for inventory of all tools, materials and equipment coming into and leaving the warehouse facility
- Interpret specifications and work orders
- Requisition, obtain and distribute supplies and materials
- Assist with resolving problems with Warehouse Management
- Read, prepare, collect and maintain reports
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- May be responsible to fulfill each project’s requests for tooling and rigging prior to mobilization and support multiple simultaneous active project’s tolling and rigging needs
- Coordinator with Facility/Warehouse Manager to setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage inventory and reconcile with data storage system
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
- Coordinator equipment necessary to offload, move and transport tools, materials, equipment, shipping containers and other associated items around the yard and to/from the project sites, yard and original equipment manufacturers
- Maintain and repair small engines
- Track calibration requirements and associated documentation for tooling
- Ship and receive tooling via UPS/FedEx and LTL carriers
- May be responsible to inspect rigging
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or GED Certification (preferred)
- Construction knowledge a plus
- Valid Driver license required (CDL preferred)
- Experience using basic power and hydraulic tools as well as understanding of rigging and small engines
- Inventory Management
- Intermediate computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation
- Experience in industrial/renewable energy construction or maintenance
- Hydraulic Tooling certifications preferred
- Rigging Inspection certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
- When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.
- Set a personal example of safe behavior.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and ability to perform these operations using units weight measurement and volume
- Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards
- Other may duties may be assigned
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of their team and your supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
- May need to maintain physical strength and stamina; Use arms, hands, and legs fully; Push, pull, and frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and stoop, kneel, balance, crouch, crawl, and climb to perform job tasks.
- Stamina to perform this task repetitively and continuously for several hour intervals.
- Uncontrolled environmental conditions: Constant change in weather and site conditions.
- This work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.).
- Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
- May need to work at heights and must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements; must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights.

HOURS:
This position is a Full-Time position scheduled to work typically 50 hours per week. Schedule is subject to projects requirements.
TRAVEL:
Travel required up to 90%. Position requires presence directly on the Project Site location with intermittent travel to residence of record.
