At Mastercard, the People Operations and Insights Team play a crucial role in shaping our talent strategy and enhancing employee experience through data-driven insights.
The People Analytics Partner role provides data, analytics, and strategic decision support to our People Leadership Team across our Business Units and Regions; this role we are hiring for is supporting our Americas portfolio; which includes both our North America and Latin America Regions; however, it would also involve some collaboration with the global team, operating across multiple time zones.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and human resources, with a focus on generating actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making within the organization. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, analyze data, and communicate findings effectively to Leadership audiences. Role
- Partners closely with business leaders to provide strategic decision support through data and analytics
- Sees beyond requestors’ asks to understand the root query or challenge for which data and analytics are being sought
- Applies knowledge in quantitative and qualitative analysis as well as data visualization to surface clear and compelling narratives that inform the strategies of the Region
- Influences the development of actionable KPIs that drive business decisions and inform executive management and other key constituents
- Provides thought leadership to convert inputs from stakeholder teams into creative, scalable solutions
- Provides program management support for Solutioning and Automation projects, and other key activities as warranted
- Collaborates with data engineering and visualization resources to access and manipulate data, explain data requirements, and surface findings via cutting-edge visualizations and dashboards
- Demonstrates exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data
- Defines, validates, and enforces HR data integrity in collaboration with HR systems teams

- Experience using HRIS tools (Workday preferred)
- Experience in relationship building across large scale organizations
- Experience managing and analyzing structured and unstructured data using tools such as SQL, R, or Python
- Familiarity with ETL tool capabilities and utility (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica)
- Experience in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, and Domo preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Psychology, Management, Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline
