Position Overview: MasterControl is seeking an experienced and dynamic Enterprise Expansion Sales Director to drive revenue growth through the expansion of enterprise-level accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background (Life sciences preferred), exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the software or technology industry. This role requires strategic thinking, relationship-building prowess, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise expansion sales strategy to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders within existing enterprise accounts to understand their evolving needs and expand MasterControl's footprint within these organizations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including customer success, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment in strategies and support for customer expansion initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers within target accounts to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to drive individual and team success.
  • Utilize CRM tools to accurately forecast sales pipeline, track progress, and report on key performance metrics to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 6 years of successful enterprise sales leadership experience, preferably in the Life Sciences software or technology industry, with a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven experience in managing and expanding enterprise-level accounts, understanding complex sales cycles, and negotiating high-value contracts.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing a sales team to achieve ambitious revenue goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with senior executives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, drive initiatives, and navigate through complex sales scenarios.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
