Installer I (Helper) - $15-$18/hr
Installer I (Helper) - $15-$18/hr
- Transport equipment, tools, and materials to the work site
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand daily responsibilities
- Follow project instructions from job lead
- Clear out and prepare jobsite for construction
- Keep jobsite clean
- Demolish existing finishes
Installer II - $18 - $25/hr
- Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment
- Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor
- Consult with construction plans
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Preparing the work surface by applying adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials.
- Install surfaces with supervision
Installer III - $25 - $30/hr
- Removing existing flooring and discarding of this material, if applicable.
- Clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions.
- Preparing the work surface by applying adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials.
- Laying wood, carpeting, tiles, concrete, and other types of flooring.
- Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean.
- Completing the installation by applying appropriate finishes.
- Educating clients about suitable care for their floors.
- Following safe procedures and encouraging clients to do the same, where applicable.
- Teach & train Installer I & II on proper installation methods
Team Lead, Installer - $30 - $40/hr
- Installation - Lead Installer needs to be able to work with different types of flooring materials (Tile, Resilient, Wood, Carpet, Sheet Vinyl) and have at least 3 years of experience with 2 or more.
- Understanding of proper installation techniques, tools and supplies needed per manufacturers recommendations
- Ensure quality and professional installations
- LMA: Leadership, Management & Accountability. Communicate well by clarifying expectations and setting directives that will get the job done.
- Team reviews
- Time Card approval
- Managing team schedules and communicating to Superintendent
Qualifications/Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and move up to 50 to 100 pounds.
- Ability to be flexible to changing work conditions & assignments, work well with a team
- Own tools of the trade:
- Hand Tools: Tape Measure, Hammers, Grinders, Saws, Sanders, Chalk, etc.
- Flooring Tools: Cutters, Carpet Stretchers, Knee Kickers, etc.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
