Masters' Supply, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Receiving Clerk in Elizabethtown, KY. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
Job Description: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving and verifying all incoming products and materials delivered to the Distribution Center (DC). This role ensures that all deliveries are correct and meet the company's quality standards. The Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Receive Deliveries: Accept and unload incoming shipments, ensuring all products
and materials are received in good condition.
● Verify Accuracy: Check the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase
orders, packing lists, and other documentation to confirm correct quantities, products,
and specifications.
● Inspect Deliveries: Inspect deliveries for damages, defects, and discrepancies; report
any issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
● Documentation: Accurately document all received products, including recording
quantities, descriptions, and any discrepancies in the inventory management system.
● Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating
the system with received items and ensuring proper labeling and storage.
● Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, and other departments
to ensure efficient and accurate receiving processes.
● Compliance: Follow all safety and operational procedures, including maintaining a
clean and organized receiving area.
● Reporting: Generate and submit receiving reports and documentation as required by
management.
Qualifications:
● Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
● Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
preferred. Knowledge of plumbing parts is a plus but not mandatory.
● Skills:
○ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
○ Good organizational and time management skills.
○ Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
○ Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
○ Ability to lift and move heavy items 70 pounds.
○ Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
