Inside Sales & Customer Service - Parts Department
Material Handling Inc. is searching for a Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who is able to work quickly and efficiently to take care of our customers. Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Answer customer inquiries about parts, fill order requests and sell parts across the counter
- Issue parts to service personnel upon request
- Ascertain make, year and type of part needed. Advises customer of part needed according to description by customer or service technician
- Discusses use and features of various parts
- Reads catalog, service manuals or computer for replacement part stock number and price
- Place orders with suppliers to fulfill customer requirements
- Invoices orders upon completion
Competencies:
- Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
- 2 Years Automotive or Forklift Parts Experience required
- Self Motivated is a plus
- Detail Oriented is essential
- Microsoft Office Experience required
- Desire to work hard and take care of the customer
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous parts department experience is preferred
