Reporting to the Vice President, Manufacturing Operations – Advanced Materials, the Training Manager will be responsible for all facets of Advanced Materials' training program from design to implementation, leveraging the optimal tools to teach skills in safety, quality, and productivity. The individual will assess and develop best in class training content and manage delivery - including training certifications. Additionally, the Training Manager will continuously evaluate the quality of the training program and will adjust as necessary.
You Will Have the Opportunity To:
- Develop and deploy a best-in-class training philosophy, framework, and related materials for Materion’ s Advanced Materials’ facilities.
- Identifies approaches for training employees safely, efficiently, effectively.
- Create certification procedures and continually monitors and assesses progress of trainees. Works with trainers to adjust the training program as necessary
- Develop Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who conduct the training in appropriate technique and works with those SMEs to manage the day-to-day delivery
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records. Monitors, evaluates, and reports on training program's effectiveness, success, and ROI.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or Engineering related field. Master's Degree in Human Resources, Training, or adult learning preferred.
- Experience developing, managing and continuously improving training preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Project management expertise, ideally with experience rolling out training plans, including training logistics.
- Experience developing a range of learning designs, conducting needs analysis including the analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of training.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year
