Outside Parts Commercial Salesperson

JOB DESCRIPTION

Matheny Motors is continuing to grow and is in need of an Outside Commercial Parts Salesperson based out of our Mineral Wells, WV location. Duties include Business to Business sales of commercial truck and bus parts for an assigned territory. This position is responsible for the management of existing accounts and development of new accounts through extensive cold calling.

Assigned Territory:

Southeast Ohio (Marietta, Steubenville)
Northern Panhandle (Wheeling)
Monongalia County (Morgantown)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages Business to Business sales of commercial parts for an assigned territory by maintaining existing accounts and developing new accounts through extensive cold calling
• Represents the company in a respectful manner
• Meets sales quotas
• Prospects for new business
• Gathers and submits detailed business information for pricing and presents solutions to identified prospects
• Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Follows a professional dress code
• Effectively uses computer systems to complete daily tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Verifiable sales performance (any industry)Post secondary education preferred
• Verifiable customer service performance record and/or training required
• Knowledge of automotive servicing/repair required
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good sales and territory management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Automotive or trucking industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of fire and tow trucks a plus
• Proven ability to achieve sales goals
• Ability to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• An impressive work-ethic
• Self-motivation and the ability to work in a team environment
• Professional appearance and confident phone voice/skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Genuinely helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
