Job Description
The Contract Pricing Administrator responds to existing/prospective customers needs and requests properly and professionally. The job incumbent utilizes the resources necessary to provide superior customer service and assist in updating and maintaining customer information. This individual works closely with Customer Service, Sales and Marketing to ensure that the customer service provided meets the performance expectations of the divisions (business/markets). This position reports to the Contract Pricing Supervisor.
Position Accountabilities
Responsible for developing customer relationships ensuring that both new and existing customers have the best possible opinion of Matheson at their first interface providing prompt, professional, courteous service.
Responsible for learning our industry and organization to provide customers with correct, accurate and timely results.
Responsible for on-going self-development by achieving marketing understanding, problem solving, and improved soft skills that determine the difference between minimally acceptable service to ‘WOW’ service.
Responsible for managing email request submitted via our company website by handling the request yourself or forwarding to the correct Matheson person/department to address. The ability to read, comprehend and interpret is vital. Identifying and communicating problematic situations promptly to the correct Matheson staff member or department to prevent any possible loss of business.
Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel is required and will be responsible to learn the various software programs Matheson uses.
The ability to multitask is required. Person must be able to sort and prioritize his or her duties according to what happens within the department on a minute by minute basis using the guidelines given by their manager.
Must have a ‘TEAM’ attitude. Willingness to help wherever they are requested.
Responsible for updating and maintaining customer information via various software programs.
Process customer’s credit card transactions using Cybersource software program.
Ability to read, comprehend and interpret customer’s inquiries and make decisions as to what is needed to satisfy customer’s expectations. Computer skills required. Ability to multitask.
Required Experience:
Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word. Worked in an office environment. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
