What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Administrator position at Mauer Main Chevrolet?
Efficiently review and process warranty claims. Ensure claim legitimacy and adherence to warranty and company policy. This role is critical to our organization in order to maximize warranty income and minimize claim rejections while adhering to GM warranty policies and procedures. Medical, Dental and 401K!
Previous experience of tracking and reconciling all warranty receivables is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
In an accurate and timely manner, ensure the dealership is paid for all warranty work by preparing, flagging, and submitting each warranty claim.
Document and track claims through completion
Ensure claim legitimacy and adherence to warranty and company policy
Light Cashiering
Review warranty claims that are returned, adjusted or rejected and track them until they are resolved
Maintain customer and service records as required by the warranty repair manual
Keep a positive working relationship with the service and parts departments
Answer phone calls with a professional manner
Knowledge of automotive parts and the service process
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects
Excellent administrative and communication skills
Ability to accept additional tasks and direction from management
Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
