Primary Responsibility:
The Manager, IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading the Infrastructure team and ensuring excellent customer service to the user community. The Manager, IT Infrastructure must ensure the systems are available at all times and functioning properly and efficiently. The Manager will lead updates and upgrades to the system to ensure the viability of the system and that the needs of the organization are always supported.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead the Infrastructure team to resolve complex technical issues while delivering excellent customer service.
- Lead technical projects to ensure on time, on budget, fully functional and thoroughly tested enhancements.
- Ensure Monthly Testing and Deploying Windows updates via SCCM server.
- Manage direct reports to ensure projects are on time and align with direction and initiatives of overall organizational plan.
- Responsibility to ensure Business Continuity is incorporated into infrastructure planning and initiatives.
- Proactively find ways to enhance capabilities for technology to support business users.
- Coach direct reports to be proactive in approach to enhance infrastructure capabilities using current technologies where possible.
- Verify VMware administration patching host/virtual servers/vCenter server using the update manager, configuring remote VMware deployments & P to V migrations.
- Exchange Server Administration including Load balancing, DAG management, & Hybrid connectivity.
- Teams Administration & Governance for both internal and external access.
- Office 365 and Azure AD deployments and management.
- Ensure the teams has availability to apply server upgrades and patches during non-production hours.
- Escalated storage administration for SAN & NAS devices using FC, iSCSI, and NFS.
- Support upgrading core domain controllers and production servers from Server 2003 & 2008 to Server 2019.
- Network design with a strong knowledge of aggerated fiber core switching using various modes and modules.
- Escalated group Policy & Active Directory Management.
- Helping with Windows 10 Migrations.
- Level 2/3 support for production operations on a 24/7 basis.
- LAN/WAN monitoring and network utilization with a strong understanding of large SD-WAN deployments.
- Ensure testing and Documentation.
- Asset management, password management, SSL management.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco products as follows: UCS, UCS Manager, Meraki, Aironet, Catalyst, ASA
- Ensures employees and processes operate in an environmentally responsible manner
- Promotes waste minimization, energy conservation, and other efforts to meet environmental objectives
- Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 7-10 years of experience.
Required Technical Proficiencies:
- Windows Server 2003-2019
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Exchange 2013-2019 Server Administration in Hybrid deployment
- Azure AD & Office 365
- Network design with a focus standardized datacenter / data closet footprint.
- VMware Infrastructure Design & Administration focusing on the design and deployment of a production ESXi 6.7-7.0 Clusters.
- DR Operation and DR testing.
- Cisco Meraki Security Appliances, aggregated Core and Access switches, Wireless Access Points.
- Cisco UCS & UCS Manager
- SAN Storage Administration, design, & deployment; Dell EMC, DataDomains, Nimble, XIO, VNXe.
- Cloud Governance
Preferred Technical Proficiencies:
- SAN Storage Administration, FC, NFS, iSCSI.
- Solaris 10/11 knowledge would be a plus.
- PowerShell Scripting.
- .Net Programming language.
- Cisco DUO, Cisco Umbrella SASE
